I stopped in at the Hobby Lobby next door on my lunch break and when I was leaving I saw this place. I thought, wow a smoothie sounds great right now. Mistakes were made. The lady at the register had an attitude and couldn’t be bothered to listen to my order. I stated twice what I wanted and still didn’t get it. I ordered the sunrise sunset smoothie and asked for chia seeds. Didn’t get the chia seeds. Which is fine, mistakes happen, but the attitude at the register for absolutely no reason other than she didn’t want to be there ruined my day. Won’t be going back.

I always go to a different location that doesnt do me wrong but this time I thought this one would be more convenient. I suggest you avoid this location. I ordered the hawaiian island flat with spinach added. I first got it without the spinach and basically no bbq sauce. Every other video ive seen on it looked better than what i received. Then i came back to ask for it to be remade since i did pay extra for spinach, even though its not a lot, its the principle. I also asked for more bbq sauce and the lady politely said she can make that happen. They handed me back the same cold box with the same flatbread i bit into but with raw spinach leaves thrown on top. Not redone, no bbq sauce, zero effort was put into fixing my simple request. I came back and asked for it to be redone as thats not what I wanted. Only after I had to ask a second time, they made it right. After I go back to my car, i realized the kale and apple salad side i got was rotten. Do what you will with that knowledge.

This was my first visit to this Tropical Smoothie location. I have been a Tropical Smoothie customer for over a decade and have visited multiple locations across the United States. Until now, I had never had a negative experience. During my visit, I noticed a blonde-haired employee preparing orders out of sequence. I specifically observed a customer who ordered after me receive both their food and smoothie before I received my order. From what I could see, several customers who had ordered earlier were still waiting as well. I was also concerned by the way promotional “buy one, get one free” cards were being distributed. The employee appeared to be selectively handing them out rather than offering them consistently to customers. As I watched, I noticed what seemed to be a pattern in who was receiving the cards, which left me feeling uncomfortable and concerned about whether all customers were being treated fairly. I brought my concerns to the manager’s attention. Unfortunately, I felt my concerns were dismissed when the response I received was simply an offer for a discount card. The service was slow took 20 to 25min to get a smoothie and a wrap. The wrap was missing avocado. I called the store and I was given the manager Jessie's number after being told they didn'thave avocado. I told them, i should have been told that when I ordered. I called Jessie, he thanked me for telling him but said they should have had avocado. I informed him how long it took, how far i live and wanted a remake or a refund, Jessie said he would send a card for the next visit just send him my address. I sent address and requested he let me know when it would be put in mail. Jessie has yet to even acknowledge the text! He definitely has lost a customer, I will not be back to this location to spend any money, only to get my remake or refund!

Tropical Smoothie Cafe was the perfect post-park and fishing stop after Old Settlers Park. We had a BOGO coupon, grabbed smoothies for the family, and everybody enjoyed theirs. Smooth, flavorful, refreshing, and made quickly. Emma gave us good customer service, which made the stop feel easy and pleasant. Good taste, good service, and a nice little reward after being outside. We definitely see ourselves coming back.
